I have nothing but love for the Zara website, even more so since they introduced Pictures; a Coveteur-style look at some of the world's most innately stylish women wearing the new season collection their way. Such beauties as Cate Underwood, Yasmin Sewell and Sofia Sanchez Barrenechea take the clothes (and accessories) off the hangers and make us want to spend all of our wages in one go. It works - I just purchased the tartan trousers.

From the FROW to the Street
One of my favourite parts of Fashion Week is analysing all of the photos from the front row and the streets. Whereas the shows themselves give us inspiration and ideas for what to wear next season, we can look to the fashion elite for what to wear now.
And what have we seen so far?
Leopard print coats and dishevelled hair, printed shirt dresses and ankle boots, Whistle's camo print and perfectly defined fringes, floaty printed dresses, feminine A-line printed skirts worn with oversized sweaters, clashing neon hues and pared down grey, printed short shorts worn with basics, statement skirts with basic tops, printed culottes, matching outfits, autumnal prints, tartan skirts with basic tees, pretty collared dresses, long sleeved cropped tops worn with floaty skirts, gingham dresses worn with ankle boots, preppy sweaters draped over shoulders and nineties inspired oversized dresses.

NYFW: Streetstyle
My favourite looks so far from NYFW include: panelled printed dresses, neon-trimmed tees, cute dresses, oversized bags and pleated leather minis, neon dresses and printed capri trousers.

Perfection in a Dress

I am reserving most of my street style inspiration for my tumblr blog nowadays. My thought process is to make this blog more personal and more diverse, with more of my own photography (when/if I get round to it). But sometime a street style image stops me in my tracks and I have to share it on as many mediums as possible. Hence this post, featuring this knock-out outfit: loosely-tied-up hair (look at that perfect wave!), bare legs, simple flat black pumps and THAT DRESS. The simple navy top, the ruched waist (expertly emphasised by the skinny brown belt) and the full, knee-length mottled-grey skirt. If anyone can guide me to where to purchase this exquisite item, I would be eternally grateful.

The Pastal House
I have fallen in love with Elsa Billgren's pastal hued interiors. From her duck egg blue kitchen, to her candyfloss pink piano, to the extensive collection of beautiful vintage gowns hanging from every wall - Elsa's home is perfection.

An Autumnal Floral .........
.... Don't mind if I do!
A midi -length, long-sleeved floral gown is definately on my 'must-hunt-down-after-pay-day' list. I wouldn't mind Jessica Horton's Topshop dreamboat of a dress, if I had a spare £100 knocking around ....

The Perfect Dress
I am currently searching for the perfect trans-seasonal dress. The specific requirements of said dress are: knee-length, full/3-quarter sleeves, a round neckline or neat collar, and a unique-yet-not-over-powering print. This dress, shot by Hanneli Mustaparta was purchased from a vintage store in New York and is exactly what I am looking for.
If you have seen any similar dresses for sale, please let me know.
