Ballet Shoes

Ballet Shoes

Looking for a way to wear this season's midi-skirt? Think floaty, chiffon and pleats, in dusky pinks and nudes and you're on your way to perfecting the Black Swan look. No doubt inspired by the Natalie Portman masterpiece, Hannah MacGibbon looked to the ballet for her Spring/Summer colllection for Chloe. MacGibbon's skirts were sheer and wispy, teamed with simple bodies, scraped back hair and no-fuss flat ballet pumps. Choose a colour palette of black, white and the palest pinks and you're on your way to a flirty, feminine take on the trend, which is in no means frumpy. If it all feels a bit too pretty, toughen up with a denim or leather jacket and your favourite Litas.
