Freunde von Freunden
If, like me, you love a sneaky glimpse into other people's homes, then Freunde von Freunden is for you. Literally translating as 'Friends of Friends', the magazine-style site showcases interesting creative types within their own homes or working environments. Expect lots of wooden floors, house plants and endearing knick-knacks.

BERTA BERNAD
If you're going to start a style blog, there are three rules that you should heed: post interesting editorial-style photographs, pick a strong aesthetic and stick to it and mix it up a bit with some travel/lifestyle/nature thrown in for good measure.
Look to Berta Bernad as an example. Yeah, so her blog is essentially showcasing her wardrobe (beautiful as it is; all silk shirt dresses, loosely tailored shorts and straw hats) but her images make you stop and look twice. And then spend the best part of an hour scrolling back over her archives. Whether she is seeking inspiration from Lukasz Wierzbowski with awkward poses and dishevelled hair covering her face, carefully considering her outfits to complement the backdrop of Moroccan tiles or nonchalantly posing amongst plants in picture-perfect greenhouses; Berta is giving the world of fashion blogs a much needed boost.

Natalie and Dylana by Emma
I love this series of snaps of two of my favourite bloggers Natalie and Dylana shot by their friend Emma Jane Kempley. The sisters dressed in their usual grunge-luxe-boho fusion, posing in front of graffiti-laden walls; gorgeous photographs and gorgeous style. Dylana makes me want to wear a hat every single day.

Andy Heart
I love finding new blogs to pour over the archives of. Clicking from one link to another over the weekend led me to the minimalistic world of Andy Heart. Nice photographs, crisp and clean outfit posts, simple tote bags and piles of minimal jewellery add a good monochromatic aesthetic to my favourites list.
Do let me know if you have any recommendations of blogs that I should follow.

Anastasia Volkova
The photo-diary of a talented international photographer is always going to make excellent blog fodder - right? Russian-based Anastasia Volkova boasts a portfolio of stunning portraits, wedding photography and breath-taking shots of her travels. Her blog documents behind the scenes footage of her day to day extra-ordinary life. I strongly recommend spending a few hours daydreaming over her archives.

Substance and Style
I've been looking forward for ages to Ally launching her new blog and today was the day: Substance was launched exactly three years to the day that she launched Unknown Pleasures.
The blog is already filled with beautiful vividly-hued photos featuring Ally herself dressed in her typically effortless Australian style, colourful flowers and beautiful scenery in and around her home town of Sydney.
Have a look now - I promise you'll be hooked!
And check out Ally's online vintage store, Who Killed Bambi to imitate her laid-back vintage-inspired style.

Follow me
So apparently Google reader will vanish soon. If you follow my blog via Google, please swop over to Bloglovin. I'm a little bit behind myself, as I'm only just creating my list of blogs that I follow on there. It's definitely the way forward though - the perfect place to keep up to date with your current favourites and discover some brand new finds!

Just Another Fashion Blog
I've been following Lisa Dengler's blog for quite some time now. She has a nonchalant, effortless way of dressing that looks like she just threw on the nearest clothes and they happened to look great together.
I'm on a shopping ban right now (due to not having any money after the festive season and a new years resolution to save up for holidays instead of buying clothes) but browsing Lisa's photographs is making me build up a mental wish-list. Think: American Apparel off-white maxi skirt, rucksack, oversized leather clutches, grunge-inspired knitwear.
A lady of many talents, Lisa also publishes a monthly magazine as an i-Pad app. I don't have an i-Pad so I have yet to read it, but I bet it's great.
