Au Revoir!

On Sunday morning I will be setting off on a 12 day road trip around Brittany with my boyfriend. We will be camping and staying in getes, with all of our luggage and a bag of cameras squeezed into the boot of the smart car!

I will hopefully have lots of my own photography to share with you upon my return.

Russian-based Anastasia Volkova boasts a portfolio of stunning portraits, wedding photography and breath-taking shots of her travels. Her blog documents behind the scenes footage of her day to day extra-ordinary life. I strongly recommend spending a few hours daydreaming over her archives.

The Whitepepper

I can always rely on Erin to point me in the direction of hip new brands. After reading her post detailing the latest collection from Whitepepper, I had to share the collection with my readers.

Based in East London, the brand began life as a Tumblr site, leading to a boutique on ASOS Marketplace and eventually their own online store. Combining original vintage one-off pieces with vintage inspired hand-made items, Whitepepper provides undeniably cool ultra-feminine garmments.

Apologies for my lack of posts this month. Whilst I gather my thoughts and plan ahead for the remainder of the month, here is my current inspiration: flower markets, colourful cakes, excessive plants, the ocean, palm trees, piles of jewellery and the colour blue.

Buy a Ticket to Palm Springs

There is so much great content on both the Lonely Dot website and Wildfox blog - due to the joining of  creative talents and awesome photographers. The 'Buy a Ticket' feature that Janell and Kim produce together is one of my favourite features on both websites - basically their road trip photo diaries as they vacation up and down the West Coast of the US. This time round: Palm Springs - cue a pastel hued colour palette, cerulean blue swimming pools, wonderfully tacky motels and those gigantic dinosaurs.

At last! Manchester is abundant with beautiful pink trees, brilliant blue skies and the smell of BBQs trickles down the streets. This bank holiday weekend has been filled with friends, cats, music, beer gardens, friend's gardens, tasty food, cherry blossom and good times.
