Summer wardrobe inspiration

I need to stop obsessing about summer! Reading too many Australian-based blogs is making it even harder to wrap up in cosy layers each day. All I want to wear are summer dresses and shorts!

To relive my SAD, here is a polyvore set for inspiration of what to wear on my forthcoming summer road trip. A fusion of clashing prints, bright colours and classic staples makes the perfect summer wardrobe.

Casper & Pearl

Wow! These are some of the best lookbook photographs that I have seen in a while. Thanks to Liss to sharing the new Casper & Pearl lookbook and introducing me to the romantic vintage-inspired Australian brand. Designer Stacey Hendrickson only began her label last year but it seems to be gaining more and more publicity.

Orla Kiely Love

The collection that I most anticipate from London Fashion Week is always Orla Kiely. Her presentations always have a cute gimmick - this season taking place in a Mad-Men-meets-Wes-Anderson office. Messy beehives and cats-eye liner immediately caught my attention, giving a swinging sixties vibe to the collection. Primary brights sat alongside office-ready black and navy for the mod-inspired collection. Twee printed shirts and dresses  were worn with fitted knits, pencil skirts and collar-less coats; styled with T-bar shoes and white tights. Highly wearable and emitting the trademark whimsically feminine Orla Kiely style, this was one of my favourite collections yet.

Road Trip!

The most exciting part of my summer is going to be a two week long road trip around Brittany in Northern France with my boyfriend. We're going to drive our little smart car around the French countryside and along the coast, with just a pop-up tent, a suitcase of clothes and an array of cameras at the end of May.
