East Side Hotel

Berlin was awesome, as always. Four days of cycling, swimming, walking, exploring, eating and drinking - and an insane amount of photographs to show from it!

I'll get round to sharing all of my photographs and offering up a few alternative ideas of what to do whilst in Berlin (aside from the obvious tourist spots) over the next week or so.

For now, here are my photos from the East Side Gallery. For those who don't know, this is the largest remaining stretch of the Berlin Wall. It was first painted by artists in 1990 and has since been renovated by the majority of the original artists. Locals and tourists have added their own graffiti over the years but this doesn't deviate from the impact of the huge colourful art work.

The East Side Gallery is located on the banks of the Spree on Mühlenstraße in-between  Friedrichshain and Kreuzberg.
